Our Haven of Tranquillity
Your hosts comfortably restored Cœur de Rose in 2010 to provide three chambres d’hôtes (guestrooms) of different sizes and decorative styles. Once installed in your rooms, we offer you the pleasure of our extensive gardens and large swimming pool and its surrounds. We believe that Cœur de Rose will provide you and your family with an oasis of quiet seclusion and peace.

Welcome to coeur de rose
Cœur de Rose is our beautiful farmhouse expanded, we believe in 1818 by an army captain returning from years as a prisoner of the Russians following the Napoleonic invasion of that country. We are to be found in Rix, a small hamlet of the canton of Lhuis. Lhuis lies about a mile to the north of Rix and Cœur de Rose is about 250m from the D19 (Sault Brenaz to Saint-Benoit road), and about a 10-minute walk from the river Rhone.
Guest rooms
All guestrooms have en suite bathrooms, access to WiFi and complementary tea-making facilities.
Breakfasts
Copious breakfasts are served in our comfortable dining room or on the garden terrace, as guests prefer. We endeavor only to offer local / homemade produce to our guests.
